Summer Adventure on a Budget

Just a little change of pace for a break in light of the Summer Season (and the impending holiday season) here are a few tips and tricks to travel and see the world while saving money. Yes, I know you may be thinking I must be foolish to think that this is even feasible. But I can attest to you that this is 100% possible to have a fiscally responsible and still comfortable yet exotic. So let me share a few tips and tricks to have an amazing Summer Adventure on a Budget.

  • Travel where your money can go the distance.

In reality as a US based citizen, you may not realize that we have one of the strongest currency rates across the globe. With that in mind it's a good idea to look at locations where your funds will have you living like the rich and famous. Some great locations where you can ball out of control are:

ASIA | Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, The Philippines, Nepal

EASTERN EUROPE | Georgia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Albania, Ukraine

CENTRAL AMERICA | Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama

SOUTH AMERICA | Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay

AFRICA | Morocco, Rwanda, Ghana, Ethiopia, Tanzania

NORTH AMERICA | US National Parks

  • Plan your activities around what is free to do.

One of the greatest tips I have ever learned is to check your destination’s tourism website to find out what's going on in the city that you plan on visiting. Research what’s free to do in the region to experience the real feel of the city and even look into the country’s natural landscape. It is always wise to plan out your trip to get the most out of the experience.

  • Avoid being a “Tourist”!

Let me explain, countries that are popular with tourism like Paris, France or Brazil will have inflated pricing which will exacerbate the cost of your trip. This is simply because they can, they are structured around the fact that they will always have tourists. Places like Paraguay are often missed gems of cultural experience that are very underrated and highly affordable.

  • Don’t wait till the last minute to book.

Booking at the last minute is almost a guarantee that you will spend 10-15x more on your trip by booking to close to your actual travel time frame.

  • Hire a licensed Travel Agent

Having a valid Travel Agent like Travel Beautifully, LLC. - They will be more than willing to do the legwork to put together the most comprehensive travel package for you that will fit your needs and budget.

All in all if you implement these few tips you can have an amazing and memorable vacation that won’t break the bank.
